What is Argo Transit?
Argo Transit is a new kind of public transit that lets you book a ride through an app, with routes that adjust in real time based on where people need to go - all for a regular transit fare. It augments fixed transit lines with cleaner, smarter, and more convenient service for communities.

How is Argo different from traditional buses?
Argo runs on your schedule. No fixed routes, no waiting at traditional bus stops. Just request a ride and meet your bus at the nearest Smart Stop™.

When are Smart Stops™?
Convenient pickup and dropoff locations a short walk from your provided start and end addresses

What is Smart Routing™?
The best route Argo creates so your bus can take you and other riders efficiently to your destinations

Will the bus pick me up and drop me off on time?
Yes. Argo gives you the pickup and drop-off time when you request your ride, so you can plan your day with confidence.

What is the age policy for riding Argo?

How do I pay for my ride?

How do I request a ride?
App:
Download the Argo Transit App.
Sign in with your phone number.
Enter your location, destination, and number of riders.
Choose your payment option.
Walk to the nearby Smart Stop™.
Scan your ticket on the bus.
Get off at the designated Smart Stop™ near your destination.

Phone call:
Call 888 401 8252 to book your ride.
Provide your location, destination, and number of riders.
Choose a payment option.
Walk to the nearby Smart Stop™ as instructed by the Phone Support agent.
Give your provided PIN to the driver.
Get off at the designated Smart Stop™ near your destination.

What is different about using the app vs. calling by phone?
Argo Transit app provides the following features unavailable in the phone support:

Can I book multiple seats for a group?
Yes. You can specify the number of passengers up to 4 when making your booking. The app or phone operator will ensure enough space is available for your group.

Is there a phone-based payment option if I don’t have a smartphone? 
Yes. When you call to book, you can use your EasyPass or pay in cash on the bus. It costs $1 with EasyPass or $3 in cash per ride.

What happens if I miss my bus?
If you miss your bus, you can request a new ride through the app or by phone. However, wait times may vary.

Can I reserve a ride in advance? 
No. Argo focuses on on-demand transit. We recommend requesting rides shortly before you need them.

Does Argo operate in bad weather? 
Yes. Buses run during normal service hours, even in poor weather conditions, except in severe situations that threaten passenger or driver safety. Any service suspensions will be announced on the app and the city’s official transit website.

Can I cancel my ride after I’ve booked it?
Yes. You can cancel your ride at no cost if you do so before the bus arrives. However, if you cancel during the trip, the driver will pull over at a safe spot along the route, and you will not receive a refund.

What is an access code, and how do I get one?
An access code is a special code that lets you start using the Argo service early. Argo team members will be handing them out.How long will I wait for a ride?
Argo’s Smart Routing™ software finds nearby vehicles and Smart Stops™ for you. Wait times usually stay short, but they can vary depending on how busy it is.

Will I be riding with other passengers?
Yes. To keep costs low and reduce traffic, Argo groups riders who are headed in a similar direction.

Are there accessibility features?
Yes. Argo has vehicles that can accommodate wheelchairs. Just select the accessibility option when you book your ride. You can book by phone if you need extra assistance.

Can I bring luggage, a bike, or a stroller?
Argo vehicles have space for small luggage, foldable strollers, and compact bikes. Space is limited, so please take that into consideration when traveling.

I lost my item on the bus. Where can I go to retrieve it?
At the end of each service day (around 7:30–8:00 PM), Argo drivers drop off any lost items at the Leisure Center. You can visit the Leisure Center during or after that time to reclaim your belongings.
